Giles is a filmmaker based in Perth/Boorloo, Western Australia.

In 2024, he directed his first feature-length film JELLYFISH while completing his BA in English & Literary Studies. It is currently streaming on Amazon Prime. His short film INTERVIEW is playing in festivals. He is the founder of the film production company NOTEPAD.

Giles has worked as an editor on a range of narrative, corporate, and branded projects. He is an associate member of the Australian Screen Editors guild.

In his free time, he loves to watch sad movies and cry (sometimes even simultaneously).
