Giles is a Hong Kong-born filmmaker living in Perth/Boorloo, Western Australia.
In 2024, he directed his first feature-length film JELLYFISH. It is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. His 2025 short film INTERVIEW has over 90K views on YouTube. He is the founder of the film production company NOTEPAD.
Giles works as an editor on narrative, commercial and corporate projects and is a member of the Australian Screen Editors guild.
In his free time, he loves to watch sad movies and cry (sometimes even simultaneously).
